Girls' day always means exploring new wineries and finding amazing spots for lunch, and Brasswood did not disappoint. This place was an absolute gem! First, let me say--you HAVE to order the mozzarella cheese on bread. It's an off-the-menu item, but trust me, it's a life-changing experience. Eat it while it's hot, and I promise, it will be the best thing you've ever tasted. Our server was fantastic! He knew we were on a time crunch and made sure everything came out quickly without compromising on quality. We ordered a feast: pizza, ahi tuna salad, prosciutto, duck bolognese pasta, fried calamari, truffle fries, and duck risotto. And honestly? EVERYTHING was incredible. You truly can't go wrong with any dish on their menu. Highly recommend Brasswood for the food, service, and overall experience. Can't wait to come back!
I absolutely love this restaurant! It is a go to of mine anytime I'm in the valley. They have a lot of seating indoors and outdoors, but the place can still get pretty busy. However, the service never falters. All the staff is friendly, attentive, and give great recommendations. The food is delicious. I often get the duck bolognese. The mussels and spaghetti have a nice bit of heat. The ahi tuna salad was a bit sparse but had great flavor and the aioli it comes with is amazing. I also highly recommend the butterscotch panna cotta. This restaurant also has two off menu items, oysters and fresh mozzarella. Get the fresh mozzarella! It is made to order and is delicious
Charming, intimate setting. Really beautiful and a great spot for a special occasion. The fresh mozzarella is a must order and they open it at your table. The calamari was delicious too with fried lemon, cauliflower, and olives. The brussel sprouts salad was good, although I could do without the egg. The short rib sugo was tender and decadent.
I loved my meal at Brasswood Bar and Kitchen! We were able to get a table around 11:30am on a Monday without a reservation (thanks to our server who did our wine tasting at the adjacent Brasswood Cellars). We ordered the special appetizer based on his recommendation as well and were not disappointed! Hand pulled mozzarella on bruschetta with olive oil drizzled on top! It was amazing! I then ordered my entree of short rib pasta which was also delicious! The service was great, we enjoyed a glass of wine with our meals, and wished we had room for dessert! I would not hesitate to visit again!
Dinner @brasswoodnapavalley for a big 50th!! We were lucky enough to have the bakery all to ourselves. We started with the amazingly light arancini- little balls of rice and fresh mozzarella in a light tomato sauce. The tableside prepared mozerella is something special. Fresh mozzarella cut and served over grilled crostini and topped with the most amazing garlic rosemary olive oil. The risotto with seasonal veggies was a huge!! Perfectly cooked creamy risotto with grilled brussel sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower. The steak was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was a caramelized panna cotta topped with Black Sea salt and the most amazing pistachio cookie. The chef came out at the end to greet us and with the birthday boy a happy day! Top notch! And a full bar!!
We've been missing the mozzarella bread, so when in the area it's a must! We had another great time at Brasswood! Perfect weather, so we enjoyed sitting outside, and had no hesitation when asked for our orders. Two orders of mozzarella bread and 2 glasses of sparkling wine! Our server was great and attentive. Our champagne was served quickly and our mozzarella came soon after. Yes, tasted just like we remembered! Thank you Brasswood! We'll be back ASAP!!
Cozy date-night dinner at Brasswood! My husband and I started with the pulled mozzarella since that's all you hear about this restaurant, though I'm not sure why its on the "specials" if you can order it all the time, nonetheless it did live up to the hype. The fresh rosemary and quality EVOO really brought it all together with a warm, gooey delight. We also split the Beef Carpaccio. I'm a sucker for pea shoots so I had to order it. The carpaccio was plentiful and all the toppings went well with the slices of beef. You can order all of their pasta dishes as a half size to try multiple! We had the Short Rib Sugo and Duck Bolognese, both had the same house-made pappardelle but differed in sauces of course, equally delicious. Ended the night with a Butterscotch Panna Cotta and unfortunately it was too sweet for my liking. Ultimately we had a lovely evening at Brasswood, from the service, ambiance and food.
Fantastic dinner experience. The food was top-notch! Everything was very fresh and delicious. Service was 5 stars! Our waiter was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with food selections. He was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed every last bite of our food and couldn't handle any dessert, but the menu sounded fantastic. We will DEFINITELY be back the next time we are in town.
